M+A provides training and workshops on a full range of disability access issues ranging from design and construction to program and policy. No matter what level or specialty of training required, we have a program to meet your needs!
Section 18949.29 of the California Health and Safety Code requires that all construction inspectors, plans examiners, and
building officials complete a minimum 8 hours of continuing
education on disability access requirements for every three-year period.
California Architects must also now complete coursework in accessibility as a condition for license renewal. (Note: Course offerings with CAB qualify for Architect's license renewal).
We have the capability to deliver training as on-line webinars to multiple site locations where attendees are spread out geographically.
We currently offer the following trainings:
Accessibility Refresher - CAB (1 hour) Scope, Appication and Antropometrics of Accessibility - CAB (2-1/2 hours)
Accessibility Requirements of the 2010 California Building Code - CAB (2-1/2 hours)
California Housing Accessibility Requirements - CAB (4 hours) Practical ADA Strategies for Cities & Counties (3 hours)
