Responsibilities:
Since 2003, Principal Peter Margen has served as an instructor on transportation and pedestrian accessibility. Peter has developed and presented courses to California public agencies on ADA compliance requirements for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of pedestrian facilities within public right-of-way.
Trainings covers extensive technical and regulatory grounds ranging from ADA/accessibility requirements, sound approach for accessibility design, design standards, good practices, ADA self evaluations, and ADA transition plans.
Margen + Associates assisted in developing this on-line interactive course. One of the innovative features is the student is offered a series of questions and scenarios based on the stated reason he/she is taking the course:
