Project: ADA Certification of California Building Code
Client: California Division of the State Architect
Responsibilities:
The ADA allows a process whereby state or local building codes can be certified for ADA equivalency. Margen + Associates was hired by the Division of the State Architect to conduct a section-by-section analysis of the California Building Code and to develop the changes necessary in order to attain federal certification.
Most of our recommended changes were adopted into the 2007 California Building Code.
