Patricia is a designer with a Master's in Architecture from SCI-ARC (Southern California Institute of Architecture) and a Bachelor's of Fine Arts from University of Hawaii. She also has an Adult Education teaching credential and teaches arts & crafts and gardening to seniors. She has spent the last 20 years in the architectural profession designing, developing and coordinating various building projects.
Most recently she has focused on accessibility compliance. Her strong commitment to humanistic design and accessible public and private spaces led her to Margen + Associates. Her work with Margen + Associates includes evaluating buildings, facilities and public-right-of-ways; oversees plan reviews at all phases of the construction document process and works with clients to provide efficient accessible design solutions. Patricia brings solid project management skills, excellent client communication abilities and creative design solutions.
Although Patricia has diverted her talents to the disability access field, she is still very passionate about great architecture that translates seamlessly from form to function. She believes that universal design can be an integral part of good architecture.

Human Interest.
When Patricia is not working, she's either gardening in her backyard or embracing her creative spirit with her arts and crafts. And when she's really lucky, she gets to go camping and hiking in the wilderness to be at one with nature and if she's really really lucky she gets to take a catnap.
